Visit from a Good Friend

This is long overdue, but here's a picture of two of my good friends.....

The guy in the middle most of you know....the guy on the left is my good friend Dok (or David) from CA. He visited me here in VA back in March. He too is a loyal Angels fan (as you can tell) and a loyal friend. We go way back. Praise God for a friend like Dok.

Last Snow Day of the Season?

We got about 6 inches of snow on Sunday and school was cancelled for the kids on Monday. I have a feeling this was the last snowfall of the season. Here are the kids enjoying the snow before it all melts away.

Family Night

We enjoyed a night out as a family worshipping together with about 5000 or so others at the Chris Tomlin concert. You gotta get these family nights in early while the kids are young because you know when they get older, they're not gonna want to hang out with their parents at a concert!

As for the concert, I appreciated the God-centered focus of the evening. Matt Redman also played and Lou Giglio gave an inspiring message about the mind-boggling greatness and majesty of our God.

Shoveling light, powdery snow is fun.....
